Shiatsu is a massage technique that uses the power of touch and pressure. This type of therapy comes from the culture Japan was first adapted to the practice of Chinese medicine and uses the principles of meridian healing system.
The system focuses opening Meridian Healing the body and increase blood circulation. The Qi pronounced chi flow through the body to produce large amounts of energy to balance the needs of the organization. There are twelve meridians which are associated with the organs of the body in the Meridian path of healing, such as kidneys, liver, spleen, stomach, heart, lungs, bladder, gallbladder, small intestine and large, regulation of body temperature and the pericardium. All these bodies are the way for the body energy to flow when the body is not immune disease.
Shiatsu therapy is also useful for those suffering from pain in the arms and tension, using the long-term repetitive movements, such as a keyboard, writing, computer mouse devices and other repetitive motion.
When out of balance the body, causes the immune system become weak and vulnerable to disease. If a person suffers a loss of energy, will show that weakens the body, organs lose their ability to function properly and the body tissues are slow. Therefore, Qi (Chi) flow loses its ability to move freely. The massage therapist will be able to assist in the completion process to stimulate the body's immune system. The massage therapist uses a method pressure with the fingers, thumbs and palms to massage the area based on the necessary amount of pressure applied is needed in the affected area.
