Ultrasound Massager

Where can I get some decent instructions on exactly how to use a handheld ultrasound massager?
I bought one off the web to treat tendonitis and lower back prob. I would like to understand more about how it works, what it can be used for and any safety advice etc.
Ultra sound won’t treat tendinitis, it has never been meant to do that. I know, I went to school for medical electronics and that was never on the list of things to use it for. One thing that would have been better is the diathermy. But costs more.
